I recently went on a road trip around Australia and spent a week near Alice Springs. Ormiston Gorge was one of my favourite places. I love how the light lit up this giant gumtree. The colours are just so vibrant and contrasting!
I paint in an impressionistic way, capturing the essence of the scene and leaving out detail that detracts from the overall scene.
